Back Cove Renovation

This Portland home needed some thoughtful upgrades to its exterior. The work centered on improving the building envelope, the layers that keep heat in and weather out, while giving the house a refreshed, durable exterior.

The scope included wood-fiber and cellulose insulation, air sealing, and new prefinished siding installed over a rainscreen system to help manage moisture behind the walls. We also addressed exterior trim and flashing, including repairs along the roof edge where an older wooden gutter was being removed. Much of this work isn't immediately visible, but it's what helps a home perform better and hold up over time.
