Munjoy Hill Rehabilitation

This project looked fairly straightforward at first: exterior rehabilitation and a new kitchen. Once work began, the scope grew substantially.

We removed the siding and much of the exterior trim so we could improve insulation at the walls, basement, crawlspace, and cap. A HydroGap water-resistive barrier and rainscreen were added before new LP SmartSide plank siding went on, along with Marvin replacement windows and a large patio door opening onto the new deck.

Inside, the walnut cabinetry and waterfall countertop became standout features, complemented by tile work from Capozza Tile. What started as a relatively familiar renovation ended up touching almost every layer of the house, from exterior performance to the spaces the clients use every day.
